Closed toe shoes and range appropriate attire
Pants (you will be kneeling on concrete)
Reliable pistol of your choosing
Lube for said pistol
3 magazines with way to carry 2 on body
Hard Shell Holster with adequate belt OWB or IWB
White light mounted or handheld (handheld at minimum)
Way to carry loose ammo for reloads on the line if needed
IFAK (highly recommended)
250 rounds of ammunition

Description:
This course requires previous basic firearms training. If you have not trained with NSR and would like to attend this class you will need to provide certificate of training from a reputable source.
This multi-student course is basic of defensive pistol. This course is designed to give students a full understanding of their firearm and its capabilities. Mastery of grip, shot placement, and recoil control are at the forefront of pistol shooting. Students will learn how to draw from a holster, speed and tactical reload, one-handed shooting and manipulation, malfunction clearing, and basics of white light deployment.
